This is our Eventing Qualifying Rally for 2008 Championships.

As with any rally we’ll be highly dependent on able and willing volunteers. Eventing rallies are often even more volunteer consuming than others, given the multiple phases and need for cross-country judges. Thank you ahead of time for your assistance!

Thank you very much for your thorough and timely entries! The final schedule is dependent on the number of entries.

We’ll see YOU at the rally!

Best to all,

Teams: A team consists of 3 or 4 riders and a horse manager (D3 to C3). The Horse Manager is optional but highly recommended. Mixed rating teams are encouraged (also mixed ages) to support our newer and/or younger members.

Each team is encouraged but not required to have a coach. The coach may be an H, HA or A rated Pony Club member or qualified adult. Several teams may share the same coach. A team chaperone may NOT be a coach. See Appendix 9 of Eventing Rulebook for coaching guidelines.

Individual participants must be able to independently care for themselves and their mount (with the assistance of their team members, advisor and horse management judges). Be prepared to come have fun!

Parents: Please remember that the rally is for your children to show what they have learned. Relax and enjoy being a volunteer (see attached form). The NEUTRAL ZONE is the place to go to leave a message or items for your child. Remind your child to check the neutral zone for notes, food, etc, during the rally.

*Note: All children who are not participants must be chaperoned at all times no exceptions!

Volunteers: Each team must have an adult chaperonE available on the rally grounds whenever the barns are open. They should complete a Chaperone’s Duty Form and see page 2 of the Eventing Rulebook.

Chaperones may not serve as a volunteer.

Each team must supply a minimum of three volunteers. Volunteers may be C-level-or-above Pony Club members, parents of competitors or other willing adults. Each volunteer must complete the volunteer sign-up form. If you are signed up as a coach, please do not sign up as a volunteer also.
