GLR Upper LevelPrep Schedule for ’09-2010

Unmounted:

HB/HA Prep #1:  Sunday, Nov 22, 10am - 3pm, Witkowski’s,Plymouth, MI

HB/HA Prep #2:  Sunday, Dec 20, 9am - 5pm, Witkowski’s,Plymouth, MI

HB/HA Prep #3:  Sunday, Jan 17, 9 - 5pm, CANCELLED

HB/HA Prep #4:  Friday evening-Sunday, Feb 19-21, Hampton Inn in Okemos,MI and MSU/possibly Copper Creekalso

**Open to all C2’s and up.  If room is available for further participantsafter all C2’s & up are accepted, then those D3 and C1’s in College or HighSchool (and possibly Jr High), whom are motivated to start learning the HB/HAknowledge and whose DC’s feel they mature enough to benefit from attending the preps, will be accepted. 

***Any attendee, regardless of age &/or rating,who causes disruption to the learning environment, will be asked once to stop. If it continues, they will be asked to leave. C2’s and up may be assigned a topic to present at the prep; D3’s and C1’s will not present but rather sit quietly and observe the presentations.  ALL participants are expected to havethoroughly studied the HB and HA standards and test sheets and studied thematerial thereon prior to the preps, and come with their questions and ready to practice!

****The final weekend prep will limit D3/C1attendance to High School and College age participants only.

Mounted:

C2-A Prep #1:  Friday evening – Sunday, April 16-18, Location: Brookside, South Lyon, MI.    National ExaminerInstructor: Deb Mackenzie Willson.

D3/C1 Clinic #1: Saturday, April 17, same location as above prep, Instructors to be C2-A PCersand local instructor(s). SORRY; CANCELLED.

C2-A Prep #2: Fri eve – Sun, May 21-23, Location: Battle Creek Hunt Club, Augusta, MI.  NE Instructor: Cherie Gaebel

D3/C1 Clinic #2: Friday evening - Sat May 21-22, Location: Battle Creek Hunt Club, Augusta, MI.  Instructors: Local PC-savvy instructor and UL PCers.

**Mounted preps will be filled on a first fully registered/paid basis.

***Mounts and riders must be fit and practiced enough to participate fully in a riding clinic at the level they’re prepping for.

Costs for both the unmounted and the mounted preps have been kept as nominal as possible so all who want to can participate. Ask your DC and JLC about possible scholarships to attend.
