The Fourth Rose Lake Pony Club – Copper Creek Schooling Horse Trial for Beginners. This year we are introducing the Short-Course Format. Eventing is a demanding sport of both the horse and rider. As such it takes a lot of practice and time to build up the ability and confidence of both members of the team. New people to the sport acquire experienced horses or not so experienced horses and veterans acquire new prospects or a new experienced horse for them to Event. These circumstances drove us to create this event. This Horse Trial has all of the elements of a TEAM or USEA Event, without the pressure. You see there are only three ways to be eliminated in the event today. The first is two falls of a rider, the second is a fall of the horse and the third is to exceed the maximum time on the cross country course.

  • Phase I – There will be a dressage test as usual, but the jumping phases will be combined.

  • Phase II – Riders will do a combined stadium / cross country ride.

The Fifth Rose Lake Pony Club – Copper Creek Schooling Horse Trial for Beginners is scheduled for September. Watch the TEAM site for details. www.Micheventing.org
