GLR D3-C1 Clinic application sheet

The upcoming D3/C1 Mounted Clinic will be on  April 11-12, 2008 at Copper Creek Farm.  The participants will stay the night at my house which is less than 10 minutes away. 
 
The clinic cost is only $60 per horse/rider!  Make check out to GLRPC.
 
We will do 2 rides on Saturday, one flatwork and one jumping.  In addition to the riding sessions there will be unmounted learning sessions that will consist of a variety of unmounted blocks from the C1 & C2 standards.
 
Time for arriving and setting up with horse at Copper Creek is between 6:30pm and 7:00pm on Friday April 11th.  The barn will close at 7:30pm and everyone will go back to my house at 7:30pm!   Time to pick up your child and horse will be approximately 6:00pm on Saturday.   

We will take clinic entries until the limited number of spots are filled.  The spots will be filled on a first complete entry received first served basis.

The GLR Upper Level Prep Application Sheet, Copper Creek Release Form, and Copper Creek Minor Release Form can all be found on the Great Lake Region website at http://www.glrpc.org/ on the 'files' section of the website.  BOTH Copper Creek release forms are needed!
 
When sending your application please be sure to include the following... 
  

• 2008 USPC Medical Release Form
• 2008 Negative Coggins for horse
• Completed D3/C1 Clinic Application Sheet
• Copper Creek Release Form (filled out by parent or participant that is age 18 or over)
• Copper Creek Minor Release Form (filled out by minors under age 18)
• Check made out to GLRPC for $60

The Closing Date is April 5th!  So make sure your entry is postmarked no later than Saturday April 5th and that you send me an Email to expect your paperwork in the mail!

Directions to Copper Creek Farm:
From Detroit and the east:
Take I-96 west to Exit 122, Webberville/ Stockbridge. Turn south (left) on M-52, go 1/4 mile. Turn west (right) onto Noble Rd. Copper Creek Farm is 2 miles on the left.
From Lansing and Grand Rapids:
Take I-96 east to Exit 117, Williamston/Dansville. Turn south (right). Go 1/2 mile. Turn left onto Noble Rd. Copper Creek Farm is 2 miles on the right.

List of items to bring to the prep...

• horse and his/her buckets, feed, beeding and all things to take care of him/her just like at a rally
• all Tack items required for dressage and jumping
• sleeping bag, pillow, PJs, and personal items to stay overnight
• barn attire, approved footwear appropriate for the weather,  neat appropriate riding attire for a clinic
